Today, we reveal details of Jaywing’s ongoing commitment to the north with a new partnership with the University of Leeds.
Our collaboration with the university will support Jaywing in deepening its links with academia as we help to deliver a pioneering MSc in Consumer Analytics and Marketing Strategy.
As part of the new partnership with the University of Leeds Business School and the ESRC Consumer Data Research Centre, Jaywing will provide guest lectures about the use of the latest analytical techniques in a commercial environment. Learning will be grounded in real life challenges and graduates of the course will see their employment prospects increase, potentially with us at Jaywing, where we have also recently launched a new analytics hub.
This most recent collaboration with academia in the field of data science follows our announcement of a major Imperial College Data Science Institute research study in March.
Professor Matthew Robson of University of Leeds, Programme Director for the new MSc course, said, “Jaywing is an extremely impressive, forward thinking business with obvious ambition for the specialist fields it works in. The course we’ve designed combines academic rigour with real-world thinking, much as Jaywing does itself, and provides a clear path to employment for its students.”
These announcements come hot on the heels of the news of a solid organic growth performance in the UK last year, particularly in an industry that is not consistently sharing in UK growth success.
At Jaywing, we’re committed to developing new talent, regeneration, local community and environmental improvement. We’re thrilled to be involved in a number of projects that support this vision, with the attraction and retention of the best talent our region has to offer and an outward face that reflects our values in the best, most high-tech design and combined with our rich, northern industrial character and heritage.
