Ben is Jaywing's Head of Data Engineering; a role he combines with hands-on development, leading and coaching colleagues and working with key stakeholders outside of database technologies.
Ben has been with Jaywing since 2002 and has over 25 years of experience in data management technologies and IT infrastructure. Much of this time has been spent working directly with clients of varying disciplines – IT, Marketing, Credit / Risk – and across many different industry sectors – banking, insurance, legal, air travel, retail, pharmaceutical, automotive and manufacturing.
Ben can quickly visualise and solve problems related to data provision and can work effectively alongside IT developers and senior management alike to produce innovative solutions; following strict IT processes, and with the ability to provide tactical solutions that are able to be deployed quickly to solve urgent business problems across multiple platforms.
Ben’s client experience includes Bank of England, Jet2, Vanquis Bank, LHV Bank, Virgin Money, Asda, Irwin Mitchell, Anchor, Roc Technologies, Webhelp, Mazda, Audi, VW Financial Services and VW Commercial Vehicles.
