Didier is a globally experienced risk leader and trusted boardroom advisor, working with Jaywing as a Strategic Advisor to help financial institutions strengthen governance, embed ethical cultures, and manage complex risk environments.

His career spans over 30 years across New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, with leadership roles at ANZ, Citi, Deutsche Bank, and UBS. He has served as Chief Risk Officer for Asia and China, Acting Country Head for ANZ China, and chaired numerous risk, compliance, and new product approval committees across global institutions.

Didier’s focus is on risk transformation that is commercially grounded and culturally attuned. He is particularly passionate about aligning risk and business strategy, creating psychologically safe leadership environments, and helping boards navigate reputational and geopolitical risk with clarity.

Now based in Shanghai, Didier advises financial institutions and fintechs through his firm Ripple Group, alongside other independent advisory roles. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and is a Registered Certified Executive Coach.
